We recommend using the Thunderstore Mod Manager or an alternative for installing mods
Think that the current platforms limit your creativity? Then this mod will let you add 4 new platforms to the game which can be build to the side of mountains or stacks of levees, giving more freedom of placing buildings as anything can be below these platforms. There are also reinforced Platforms which you can use instead of levees and will allow your beavers to walk under aswell! There is another platform which is disabled by default as it can be placed nearly anywhere! You can enable it in the configs.
This plugin is currently only supported in the experimental version of Timberborn.
The designs of the platforms are mostly made by Knatte_Anka. He also play tested it and helped balancing the costs. So a big shoutout to him for the ideas and massive help!
All platforms can be found under the paths tab. You can place them to the side of any cliff or a stack of levees.
The reinforced platforms have the same properties as levees, except it won't stop water. Though they look better and you can place things under it.
The middle platforms are disabled by default and have to be enabled to use them. These platforms can be placed nearly everywhere. They can be placed against any cliff, platform, building etc. It should be noted that this makes it possible to make floating buildings and as such is not advised when you like reality and game integrity. The image below shows the usage of the Middle Platform as these platforms are placed against the wall, which is normally not possible:
Recommended way to install this mod is through Thunderstore. You can install this plugin manually by cloning the repo, building it and adding the dll to your bepinex plugins folder. This plugin is dependent on the magnificent TimberAPI.
In case you experience problems, message me in the modding channel of the the Timberborn discord or message me directly (Tobbert#1607). I will try to fix it as soon as possible. :D
Please note that the install buttons only work if you have compatible client software installed, such as the Thunderstore Mod Manager. Otherwise use the zip download links instead.
