Tame the River a Timberborn Map

Welcome to Tame the River, a map for Timberborn.

Tame the River is a new map featuring vast flat lands. Strive to redirect the river to cultivate life in the desert. This mild challenge, not recommended for first time play as having good knowledge of landscaping is required to succeed. Other features include:

• Large Primary River
• Sample of irrigation mechanics in the starting area.
• Two carved out areas for artifical lakes.
• Consideration was given to building on the water early and late game.
• Vast areas of flat land with very little terrain in the way.
• Metal Rich Mountain Tops that'll take some effort to reach.
• Lots of potential for dams and flood control.
• Would be a great map for Rain Control if they ever choose to add it.

Installation (game, automated)

1. Download and install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman
2. Click Install with Mod Manager button on top of the page
3. Run the game via the mod manager

Installation (manual)

If you are installing this manually, do the following

1. Extract the archive into a folder. Do not extract into the game folder.
2. Move the contents of the Maps folder into Documents/Timberborn/Maps/ .
3. Run the game.
